ABOUT THE CONDO
Location, Location , Location. Nestled in Carrizo Canyon, less than one mile from Casino Apache, is Aspen Creek Condo. The property is uniquely bordered by Lincoln National Forest and the Mescalero Indian Reservation. One of its main features is beautiful Carrizo Creek, which runs just a few feet below the balcony. Hear the tranquil sound of "babbling water" produced by the creek’s gentle rapids. With the creek as their backdrop, the shenanigans of resident ducks provides ample entertainment. Neighboring lands of the reservation and national forest serve as a wildlife refuge allowing for Mule Deer, Elk, and the occasional Bear to be seen from the condo. Expect mountain breezes to flow through the canyon bringing with them the relaxing fragrance of the many Pinion Pines abundant to the premises. Aspen Creek Condo offers picturesque views of steep canyon slopes blanketed with timber. One of most unique features about the Condo is that it has a designated Forestry Hiking Trail that starts 150' from our front door.The condo derives its name for the two aspen trees gracing it’s balcony.
Aspen Creek Condo’s location is very unique but also practical. The condo is somewhat secluded, but offers close proximity to the many local attractions. Aspen Creek is less than one mile from the renowned Casino Apache. Less than five minutes away is Ruidoso Downs Horse Track, which provides horse race wagering (Home of the All-American Futurity. The world‘s richest Quarter Horse race with a Two-Million Dollar Purse). At Ruidoso Downs one will find another casino, "Billy the Kid". Access to various shops, museums, art galleries, eateries, fine dining, theatres, local historic district, three championship golf courses, two miniature golf courses, ATV trails, Jeep rentals, ski shops, trout-fishing, horseback riding, national forest, Native American lands, and even a small amusement park for the kids can be all reached within a five minute drive of Aspen Creek Condo. If visiting during the winter/ski season, the condo is accessed by main road. Meaning, the road is kept snow-plowed for safer travel. How is all this for location?
Condo Description and Amenities
The décor is a touch of Native American, with many amenities of home. Amenities seldom found with hotel accommodations. Even though Aspen Creek is ideal for couples and small families with children, the floor plan is efficiently arranged to accommodate multiple occupancy. In fact, we have slept as many as five adults in this facility. For larger groups keep in mind that arrangements can normally be made for similar units to be rented just a few doors down.

Aspen Creek Condo became our mountain home for the many reasons illustrated by this website. We have made it available to be shared by others. Daily and weekly rentals are presented along with vacation trades. All vacation trades will be deliberated with special consideration for hunting excursions.
